Tassi is an accomplished scholar with the Durmand Priory, an organized dedicated to unearthing the past. She's grown to be a recognized expert in the history of the Thorns, a mad royal family who tormented the world as tyrants centuries ago and returns to haunt the world every Halloween. She's currently tracking a lost relic of Mad King Thorn.

Bloody Prince Thorn

Centuries ago, Edrick Thorn was the only son of the King Oswald Thorn, the feared and fabled "Mad King" of Kryta. Whereas his father was known for madness and a literal killer sense of humor, Edrick was a sadist who loved torturing and murdering his subjects for fun, thus earning the title "The Bloody Prince."
Edrick's bloodlust became too much for his father, who was disappointed in his son's utter lack of style in his depravities. The Mad King attempted to teach his son a lesson by stuffing him in a box and starving him. Edrick eventually died from starvation and his father bound his son's body and spirit to box. To make sure no one else learned of his disappointment of a son, the Mad King erased "the bloody prince" from the royal records and butchered anyone who spoke of him.
Edrick now aches for his freedom which would be devoted to finding his father and making him suffer for being left to die in the box.
